Literary Studies

This book is a significant attempt to reconstruct Korean literature during the early Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392), which remains the greatest gap in the history of Chinese literature in Korea or ancient Korean literature, and review its historical development. It explores the overall and aesthetic characteristics of early Goryeo literature through a comprehensive review of political and diplomatic docu-ments, official papers, epitaphs and lyrical literary works of individuals.
