This is a study of Yu Yeong-mo, Kim Gyo-sin and Ham Seok-heon ― pio-neering Christian thinkers who struggled to embrace Christianity from subjective standpoints of modern Korean history. From the colonial period to recent years, they greatly contributed to establishing Korean Christian thought. They inter-preted the painful experiences of Koreans under colonial rule in the context of the Bible and Christian faith, and put their thoughts into action. By studying their life and thought, the book offers insight into the true meaning of Korean Christianity and its practice in our age.
